Bonjour à tous
J'ai rencontré un problème il y a quelques mois : malgré tous mes efforts, je n'arrivais pas à le réinitialiser.
J'ai remarqué que le volant n'était pas droit et je pensais simplement que la personne qui avait travaillé sur la Caravelle l'avait démonté.
Lors de l'extraction des données en temps réel, le capteur affichait toujours une température supérieure à 10 degrés, ce qui expliquait son échec de réinitialisation.
J'ai tout essayé, puis je suis revenu aux bases…
Il s'est avéré que le parallélisme était complètement faux (pincement, etc.).
Une fois le parallélisme corrigé, j'ai pu réinitialiser le capteur de volant en 10 minutes.
Cela m'a également permis de réinitialiser le voyant ESP avec VCDS, problème impossible à résoudre sans réinitialiser le capteur de volant…

Hi all
I had a challenge with this a few months ago where no matter what I tried, I could not reset this.
I noticed that the steering wheel was not straight, and simply thought that whoever had worked on the Caravelle in the past had removed the steering wheel.
When pulling live data, the sensor always read >10 degrees, and that was why it would not reset.
I tried everything, and then went back to basics...
It turns out that the wheel alignment was totally out (toe-in etc.)
Once the wheel alignment was corrected, I was able to reset the steering wheel sensor within 10 minutes.
This also helped me to reset the ESP warning light using VCDS, and that I could not clear without the steering wheel sensor being reset...
Hope this helps someone.
